SiegiGeo and I decided on a foliage hike up Lyndeborough Pinnacle
on this beautiful fall day. It has been a favorite hike of mine for
years, providing lovely views at the top for a short hiking loop of
about 1.5 miles total. Soon we came to a trail junction. Which way
to go? To the left is the original trail, to the right is the newer
"Helen's Trail". I'd forgotten to bring along the little trail
guide, Ted's Trails by local trailbuilder Ted Bonner, which
has a good map and description of the route.
Either direction is good, so we'll let you decide which way to
hike. Also, see if you can spot those two triangles.
