The legendary days of knights are long past. When we hear of "knights" now, it is merely a name, not a vocation. Knights of Pythias and Knights of Columbus are fraternal groups. Knights Inns are budget motels. Keira Knightley isn't a knight at all, but a pirate; not that there's anything wrong with that.
But, here in Santa Clara, a knightly order has returned, with knightly games and knightly arts. If you come by here on weekknights, err, weeknights, you may actually get a glimpse of them.
Cache is a match holder, hidden beneath one of the stone pennants. You stay on the sidewalk for this one, and there is no need to disturb shrubbery or climb into the landscaping.

Update Dec. 2015 The Knights have moved their encampment across the street and a furlong or so west. But their games continue. and the cache is staying where it is.
