The Clark Pond Trail starts at a gate on Bog Road in New London .Take the Dancy Trail through the woods for 3/4 mile to the shore of Clark Pond. . Parking is along the shoulder of Bog Road.
We thought the Queen of the Pond needed a King! We gave the terrain a 3 as it is 1 1/2 miles round trip, but the trail is flat and very scenic. Be sure to look for the rattlesnake plantain . This orchid blooms during July and August, but the colorful leaves are visible now.
