Geocache Description:

Commonwealth Avenue, referred to as Comm Ave stretches from the western edge of Boston Public Garden, through the neighborhoods of the Back Bay, Kenmore Square, Allston, Brighton and Chestnut Hill. It continues through Newton until it crosses the Charles River at the border of the town of Weston.

This series of caches takes you along the greenway, called Commonwealth Avenue Mall which is punctuated with statuary and memorials. Starting at the Public Garden and going westward, you will come to the first statue of Alexander Hamilton, co-author of the Federalist Papers, sculpted by William Rimmer (erected in 1865). On your way to the next statue of John Glover, a Revolutionary War soldier you will find the first placed cache.

Please be aware of muggles as they are everywhere. The cache is not winter friendly. Please replace as you found it.
