Welcome to the Eightmile River Preserve- Pizzini Tract. This preserve was an important purchase because it helps protect the Eightmile River, which was just granted Wild and Scenic status by the federal government. It flows just across the street and can be seen from the Patrell Preserve. After exploring this piece of woods, I couldn't find any interesting features in back; no streams, ledges, or outcroppings, so decided to put the cache here, because there's a nice view of the distant hills when the leaves are down.
