The Bendigo"GeGnome
Project" Launch
Event!!!
My Gnomey Brethren take heed!
In December & January this
Summer the Great Adventure will be upon us. All across the
country, our friends, disgruntled garden dwellers all, call for
rebellion. Tired of their cheery brightly coloured clothing and
passive vegetable guarding duties, the Gnomes of Australia have
decided to go Walkabout! They are donning stealthy outfits, picking
up new equipment and trying their hands at weird and wonderful
professions to try and get more out of their usually boring Gnomey
existence. WILL YOU JOIN US!? Break
the Backyard Shackles and go see this Great Country!
Expedition Planning and Registration is taking
place at CachingGames.com.
Before
this happens however we cordially invite you to have a big party,
meet up, swap plans, show off our new clobber and say farewell to
our friends and pet humans... Perhaps forever!
SO! On November
28th 2010 there will be an official Gnome
Event held in the Whitehills
Botanical Gardens!
Gnomes are asked to bring along
their Pet Humans and if possible come fully kitted out for
adventure. The meeting will take place from 1100h
(11am for those brainless Zombie Gnomes :P) and go until the last
Gnome falls, with a Gnome parade at 1200h
(12pm).
So
make sure you trim your beard and have a Name
Badge so the everyone can see how witty your new Nick-name
is :D
If you
think your Pet Humans might get hungry whilst here, then you might
like to bring them something that will keep them happy.
We are
also having a raffle.
1st Prize = 1 UNACTIVATED tigersden
Micro Glow GeoCoin with matching pathtag set & FTF Keyring
2nd Prize = 1 of tigersden's GNOME
pathtags (if not arrived by the event, it will be posted to
you)
Tickets will cost $1.00 each or 3 for
$2.00.
Profits of the raffle will be donated
to the very kind people that are putting together meals for the
WHITEDOGGANG.
We hope there exists the possibility to
rally more Gnomes to the cause through these long limbed fellows.
The Gninja Gnomes will be on standby should things get ugly. But we
hope this will be a peaceful meeting.
Hope to see as many of you
there as possible!
(Please ensure your humans have
bathed and are on their best behaviour.)
