A micro container hidden in an obvioous spot once you are at G.Z. The log is made of M.T. Pool's water proof vinyl so bring your own pen or sharpie as pencol and gel tips wont write on it.
This is a cache I have been contemplating for a while. I'd like to get a series of caches going dedicated to some of my favorite musicians. The cache name would have to be some how asscociated with either the musician or group's name or the name of one of their popular songs. For any Bob Segar fans out there I'm sure you are familiar with his song "Like a Rock." Cooks pond is a nice peaceful area. The access roads have recently been closed off to vehicular traffic in part due to lots of illegal dumping. On past trips to this area I have run into an occasional hiker or fisherman. On the day I hid this cache I ran into no one. I don't want to give to much away on this one. I think it's a relatively easy hide there is just a bit of walking involved the last part being up a rather steep hill, and some light bush whacking.
I would reccomend parking at the Armstrong Skating Rink just off exit 5 Rte. 3, Long Pond Rd. Plymouth.
