This cache is located in one of my favorite Metro-Boston areas, The Middlesex Fells Reservation. From the Sheepfold parking it is a very easy .35-ish mile walk. You can also park a bit further away at the Long Pond and be rewarded with a very scenic 1 mile hike! Either way the area is very scenic & overlooks the reservoirs. The cache itself is unusual but stands out where it was placed.
I was taking a nice walk through the fells and decided this was an ideal place to "plant" a cache I had been carrying around with me. Its a fantastic area, with views of both Reservoirs.
The title comes from the affect the reservoirs have on the trees and other things when reflected & refracted off of it. Kinda reminds me of the carnival house of mirrors room, without the creepiness those usually have associated with them.
Lots of Hidden Gems to be discovered within a short distance from GZ, so I recommend you explore the area.
