Geocache Description:

John Milton Hay (1832-1905), American statesman, diplomat, author, journalist, private assistant to President Abraham Lincoln, and Secretary of State under two U.S. Presidents (William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt), served under a total of five U.S. Presidents. He began acquiring land in Newbury in the late 1880s and built his summer retreat, The Fells, http://thefells.org. Sunset Hill was a productive tree farm on the estate.

A short walk along Sunset Hill Trail brings you to the second cache in the "The Five of Hearts" series. The trail head is across the street from The Fells, (visit link) on Rte 103A, and the trail is well marked. The small lock n lock is not far from the trail and should be easy to find. FTF will find a prize. Please respect the environment and enjoy caching.

Park along the road just below the trail head.

Congratulations Molly Mac on FTF Honors!
