This area is among our favorite scenic places close to our house. The cache is a standard lock and lock hidden near the singletrack path around the peninsula, there is no need to bushwhack more than just a few feet.
Located on the shores of Mare Meadow Resevior, you can fish only if you are a local, but anyone can hike about and enjoy the views. And the views from here are great. Please have a fun walk from either of the nearby parking areas just to the south and east of the causeway over the resevoir on South Street in Westminster. In fact we recommend you make a loop to enjoy all the views of the resevoir. In the summer this can be a very busy place and you may need to use stealth with the many fisher folk during the summer months.
