An addition to the Book Nook series placed on Poverty Mountain that is accessible from the Robert Frost Trail.
My daughters wanted to take Box of Treasures up on her offer to add additional authors to her Book Nook series. They selected Frances Hodgson Burnett as one of their favorite children's authors. My oldest prefers “A little Princess” while my youngest is a big fan of “The Secret Garden”. These books have been made into popular movies. Neither of my daughters has read “Little Lord Fauntleroy” yet.
The hike to the hide is just over a mile if you stay on trails, all of it uphill. It is hidden about 460 feet off the Robert Frost Trail on Poverty Mountain. There is a faint, sometimes hard to follow steep foot path up Poverty Mountain from the RFT.
I saw a scouting camera about 500 feet past the hide near the peak. Wear blaze orange during hunting season.
