Havgas gorge
Havgas gorge is in a short distance from the village Agios Konstandinos at Lassithi plateau. This gorge is carrying the water of the highest Katharo plateau to Lassithi plateau. The gorge is 3-4km long. The route is relatively smooth and accessible to everyone until a point, where you will meet a round boulder at the bottom of the gorge. From this point the hiking in the canyon become dangerous for those who not have experience. But you can do the round walk about 4 hours and get 3 caches on the way. For details look the trip at the related webpage. Only try to not do my mistake. Don’t follow me from 1km till 3 km. I lost the path!!!! Try to cross 1100m the hill and you have to see a good path (from old time people used this, before cars) .
The cache is after a few hundrend meters from the beggining of the gorge from the side of Lassithi plateau. The signal of the gps is not very good in the gorge but the cache is quit obvious. See the spoiler picture.
