As tradition has it, a golden ammo can is placed to celebrate a
cacher reaching 1,000 finds. This Golden Ammo Can was placed to
celebrate GeneGene's 1000th find on May 16, 2010. Congratulations
GeneGene on this great milestone and thank you for all the time and
effort you put into the sport of caching!
This cache is hidden in Hopkin's Forest a short ways off the
Carriage Trail. The Carriage Trail is accessible by parking at the
main lot and following the Lower and Upper Loop Trails to the
Carriage Road or by parking on Northwest Hill Road near the trail
head. This cache should serve as a nice added bonus while doing the
Hopkin's Multi and other caches in the area.
