Following the American Idol theme from our Nashua caches where we ran out of room, we are adding some new ones.
Season 8 introduced the 4 judge panel and it was also Paula Abdul's last year.
Kris Allen was the winner defeating Adam Lambert.
The season also saw some format changes. There were 36 semi-finalists instead of 24 and 13 finalists instead of 12. Also added was the save which enabled the judges to veto the disqualification of a contestant.
