LES is More Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

BottleTreeSC: This has been a fun one for this CO, but alas the roadwork is going to be around for quite a while longer according to the Road construction crews. Thanks to all who found this one! Keep art in your heart!

Geocache Description:

My first hide and I'm happy to place it at my school site of 35 years! Cache was initially an ammo can and is currently a plastic gallon container containing a variety of swag for swapping, log book, and pencil. Not handicap accessible due to being off the sidewalk and on a sloped terrain. Parking is available in front gravel lot of the school off Azalea Drive.

Geocaching is finding its way into schools as an innovative, fun way to teach math, social studies, history, science, and art as well as problem solving and working cooperatively! At LES, learning is MORE than sitting in a desk! Lexington Elementary School and district officials have graciously granted permission for the placement of this geocache. You must stop by the school office to get permission to look for the cache if the school is in session (i.e. M-F 7:30 am – 3 pm). You do not need to get permission to look for the geocache after school hours (after 3pm, weekends, and school holidays). PLEASE place cache back exactly as found. Watch out for the little wildcats! Congratulations to catgirl03, trafficmaker and resqgirl on FTF!
