Saphan Hin Traditional Cache

There are concerts and market fairs, but it is a nice place for picnics or jogging as well. The area is very popular with the people of the city and busy on late afternoons and weekends.

The place is in the southeast of Phuket City at the end of Phuket Road and overlooks Phuket Bay.

In the traffic circle is the Tin Mining Monument, shaped like a large drill bit, and a nice chinese style shrine, which is worth visiting as well. Nearby the cache location are a lot of small restaurants and Karaoke Bars (opening early in the afternoon) for the adventurous artists among the cachers.

If you need to extend your stay, because the search for the cache took so long, the Immigration Office is not far from the GZ :-)

Be careful, especially late in the afternoon and on weekends the area is full of muggles.
