One of several parcels granted to a group headed by Timothy
Andrews. A carpenter by trade, Andrews built and ran an inn in his
home town of East Haven, Connecticut, after which he named this
Vermont town. The records show that his holdings were purely
speculative, Andrews having no intention of ever settling here.
Ironically, he died in Vermont, while on a trip to inspect his
holdings.

About the Cache
Its a 1 cup container about 5 feet
above the ground, A slight climb up a bank overlooking Moose River,
The river below contains some interesting Pot Holes (bowls carved
by thousands of years of erosion). I came in on the Radar road. Its
about 4 miles up an unplowed forest road from the Victory Town
Clerks Office in Gallop Mills. The road was in pretty good shape
last fall, and most cars will make it after snow and mud have gone.
Its a park and grab in the summer and fall, but also a nearly level
bike ride or x/c ski
This is also the road we used to access the abandoned Radar Base
(North Concord Air Force Station) and caches Radar Days, You Can Turn Back Now, Welcome to Town?,
Special
Treatment.
