Geocache Description:

NOTE: The cache is not at the listed coordinates. They were semi-randomly chosen because I liked the way they looked. As always, do not give any hints in your logs, no matter how obtuse. The geochecker will confirm when you have the correct answer. Also this cache, like the others in the area, is located on conservation land so please respect it.

I had found several caches in this area and thought I was done with caching around the marsh but recently another cache was listed. It is a nice area with a large beaver dam and some nice trails so I looked forward to going back there.

I also like math, numbers, and language and I sometimes see connections between things that other people would ignore. For instance, two of the caches that were initially placed close to the marsh, the Werewolf cache (GC1PNYW) that was located at N 43° 06.813 W 070° 53.907 , that has since been archived; and 300 Dogs (GC2M9MJ) located at N 43° 06.852 W 070° 53.290 , are both about canines so I saw a direct link between the two. Obviously that wasn’t intentional on the part of the cacher who placed those caches but I try to look at all the angles, even when it’s not the right angle.

While thinking about the importance of these two caches I thought I would try to place a third cache with equal importance in the area. The cache I placed is about 50 feet from a road so even with all the snow it should be fairly easy to get to. The cache is winter friendly and hanging in a small evergreen tree at eye level. It seems like I’ve forgotten to include some information about my cache in this description but since I turned 60 a few years ago, I may be a little more forgetful than I used to be. Oh, there is a small first to find prize.
