Geocache Description:

This is a small, winter friendly to a point, lock-n-lock placed near the shore of Baker Pond in Pisgah State Park.

Baker Pond is passed by a hiking trail, which is a snowmobile trail in the winter.

You can learn more about Pisgah State Park and download trail maps. Maps may be available at the trailheads. Use care with the maps as they are not very accurate and don't show all the trails on them.

I parked at the Kilburn Pond trailhead on Route 63 in Hinsdale, NH and came by way of the Pisgah Ridge Trail and north to Baker Pond. I traveled back by way of the Davis Hill Trail. This was over a six mile loop hike (with the potential for several caches).

There are shorter more direct ways.

One could also park at the trailhead on Horseshoe Road in Chesterfield, NH.
