Geocache Description:

A micro hidden within a special container in the Ives Forest section of Harold Parker State Forest. Parking at N 42 35.357 W 071 04.565

This is our first hide! This cache takes its inspiration from two other caches in the area. The first is the Ives Forest Cache, which is what turned us on to this area. We had hiked in Harold Parker many times but were not aware of this section. There is a magnificent stand of Red Pine planted by the CCC in the 1930’s. The second inspiration is ChasandMeg's O Tannenbaum Cache, also in North Reading. If you've done that one its all the hint you need to find this one. You should walk in on the trails about 0.25m, resisting the temptation to bushwack from the trail near the parking area. A lightly-used trail eventually heads off to the right. Might be swampy in the spring. Happy hunting. FTF prize is a Turtle Trackable!
