Nestre percurso pela peninsula
chamada de "Quinta da Rocha" encontrará um mosaico de paisagens:
campos agricolas, matos mediteranicos, sapais, salinas,
pisciculturas, e o ecossistema aquático dos rios e da laguna de
Alvor.
Esta zona húmida é um importante ponto de alimentação e descanso
para as aves que fazem o trajecto de migração entre os continentes
africano e europeu.
Enquanto que na Primavera e Verão podera encontrar chilretas e
pernilongos a nidificar, no Inverno o sapal é utlizado por aves que
fugiram ao frio das latitutes mais elevadas como os colheiros,
alcaravões, alfaiates e flamingos.
Este é o primeiro de dois Percursos de BTT inseridos nos Percursos
Naturais de Portimão.
É um circuito com cerca de oito quilómetros que nos leva à
descoberta da Quinta da Rocha e à envolvência da Ria de Alvor,
integrada na Rede Natura 2000, que constitui a mais importante zona
húmida do Barlavento Algarvio e porto de abrigo para numerosas
espécies, com destaque para as aves.
É um Percurso de dificuldade baixa que pode ser percorrido tanto a
pé como de bicicleta.
In this tour of the peninsula called "Quinta da Rocha" find a
mosaic of landscapes: farmland, Mediteraneo woods, marshes, salt
flats, fish farms and aquatic ecosystem of rivers and the Lagoon of
Alvor. This wetland is an important feeding and resting point for
birds that make the migration route between Africa and Europe.
While in spring and summer you can find the nest Little Tern and
waders in winter, the marsh is used by a bird who fled the cold of
higher latitudes as the Crops, alcaravões, tailors and flamingos.
This is the first of two mountain bike routes included in the
Natural Pathways of Portimão. It is a circuit of about eight miles
brings us to the discovery of Quinta da Rocha and the surroundings
of the Ria de Alvor, integrated in the Natura 2000 network, which
is the most important wetland in the western Algarve and haven for
many species, with especially birds. Route is a low difficulty can
be explored either on foot or by bicycle.

caches 3 e 4 só a pé ou de bicicleta, sejam discretos e façam pouco
barulho estão sem zona de nidificação de aves e protegida,
