The Muppet Show... Do you remember ?
Going
down memory lane we found ourselves humming some old tunes from
"The Muppet Show". So we decided to dedicate this cache to this
show back from the old days. Here's some information on the creator
of the show.

Henson began working with puppets as a college student,
creating the show Sam and Friends in 1955 for a local Washington,
D.C. television station. The energetic Muppets soon became a
popular fixture, and led to appearances on national variety shows.
Henson's commercials for a local coffee company, Wilkins Coffee,
were so popular that he was hired to create similar commercials
around the country. In the early 1960s, Henson moved to New York
City to work on a variety of projects, including a regular guest
spot on The Jimmy Dean Show for the first Muppet star, Rowlf the
Dog.

Even
afdwalend in onze herinneringen uit onze jeugd waren we ineens de
tune van "The Muppet Show" aan het neurien. Dit bracht ons op het
idee om hierover een cache te maken. Hieronder vind je enige
informatie over de bedenker van de show.

jaren '60 verhuisde Henson naar New York City om daar aan
verschillende projecten te werken, waaronder een regelmatig
gastoptreden in "The Jimmy Dean Show" met de eerste Muppet ster,
Rowlf the Dog.
