Somlyó Mountain and Wild Rose On the mountain-top under a bourock
at the stock of a tree. The box is a 15x15 plastic kitchen box.
Approaching: Toward Apc leading out Rózsaszentmárton and you can
get to the mountain-top on the breaten track. Bp-M3, Route
Hatvan-21, in direction Salgotarjan to Apc. About hiding: I always
wanted to get a box here early in my geocashing. Earlier I came
here several times on the occasion of different events. It was some
years ago that I didn’t come here. We got our backpack and a
box with some gifts and started out the mountain. Solymó can be
seen well from me and a tree attracts my attention what I had my
eyes on that yet. Because of it’s here: I want to call
attention to tours and events. The Solymó: Solymó mountain is the
last volcano cope of Matra. From here the mountains melt into the
endless plain of Alföld. A country-wide scenery unfold before our
eyes seeing from the top of the Solymó, on the west the horizon is
closed by Cserhát, on the east we can see to foggy downs range of
Kékes. The Somlyó is the south-west bastion of built from andezit
which south side is covered with the mosaic of needlegrass slope
steppe and past graves, the north side of hill is covered with oak
forest. We can watch here the rich plant- and animal fauna of
closed and opened andezit rock grasses, slope steppes, past graves,
fruit-gardens and oak forest borders. More than 20 protected plant
species is known up to this point. A wonderful panorama unfolded
before visitors from the motte rampart of bronze-age origin of

50 performance trip, Santa Claus day walk at Mátra piedmont, Frost
trip Mátra mountain, castles in Mátra… The mountain-top is
the favourite place of glidings. And of course geocashing. (Nearby
boxes are the GCApci and GCRORO.) I wish an enjoyable trip for
