There's lots to watch here, including several gorgeous kinds of moss and some very peculiar nests. I cannot imagine what kind of birds would use these nests! Robot Birds, maybe?
8/24/18: I fell in love with this beautiful and intriguing spot--and with the great bike path--in 2011 when we created "Metal Nests and Moss." It is still a beautiful and intriguing spot, and I'm so happy that people are still enjoying this cache. Today, I stocked the cache with two original handmade trackables (please help them along on their missions) and a whole lot of little treasures. Enjoy!
