How Geocaching Works
THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. This is a 3 Stage cache, located in the Roger Tract of the Simcoe County Forest.
The posted coordinates are for Stage 1, which is a micro vial container hidden in a camouflage length of bamboo. Stage 2 is either a micro vial container hidden in a camouflage length of bamboo or a wireless transmitter; which Stage 2 the cacher finds, depends on their caching attitude- traditional or modern! Either Stage 2 caches will direct the cacher to the Final, a small container with a log and room for small trinkets/tradeables. However bring your own pencil/pen for logging
Well this isn't a Challenge Cache, it does allow traditional cachers to challenge the modern, in-tuned cachers to a no-hold first to find race. From Stage 1, the Regular cacher will have to travel 490m to their Stage 2 and then 650m to the Final (A total of 1,140m), while the In-tuned Cacher will be travelling 520m to Stage 2 and then a measley 450m to the Final (A total of 970m). While the two routes are not the same distances, the In-tuned cachers does have to transverse higher grounds and more dense bush.
Let the race begin!
