How Geocaching Works
The Pea Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is a 244 acre parcel of WDNR land, managed for production of waterfowl, wild pheasants, and non-game songbirds. In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical to the nesting, feeding, and overall survival of birds and other wildlife.
This is the sixth of many "Room 2 Roam" cache placements, and the second in this GHRA. These caches are not park 'n' grabs and can be wet during the different seasons of the year.
Enjoy the trek and watch for wildlife!
