This is our new circular route, it is approximately five miles long, there is one hill and a few minor slopes, part of the route is on a country road, so please be careful on this area with your children and pets.

Once again we have tried to vary the caches, some being for children, some to make you smile, and some to tax you a little bit, (only minor taxing). On the route there will be three types of caches, traditional, other, and Q & A, they will all be intermingled. All the traditional and Q & A caches will contain a pencil, other type caches will not.... Don't forget to bring your own pen or pencil, also tweezers will be very handy.

Overall there will be thirty one caches including two bonus caches, one bonus cache for the Q & A caches, and a second bonus for the traditional type caches. This route may take you more time than usual because of the nature of some of the caches, particularly the Q & A caches, but thats all part of the fun!

Please be aware that you will need to make a note of each individual answer on every one of the Q & A caches, you will find that you need these answers to enable you to access the Q & A bonus cache.

Secondly you will also need to make a note of the letter with the related number in the lids of the traditional type caches (only nine of them) in order to locate the bonus at the end of the route.

The traditional type caches should be reasonably easy to find, some of the other type caches may need a little more searching, and just a few of these other type caches may need a device that will be situated close by, using the device may require a small amount of skill.

Finally, the taxing (Q & A) caches will require a little input from you to gain access to the logbook, unfortunately you will not be able to log your find unless you give the right answer. Some of the questions you might know, others you may have to ask the audience, phone a friend, or even google them!

Obviously you are not obligated to do all of the caches, the seven Q & A caches are situated in between numbers twelve and twenty three. If you feel that these will take you too much time, please just pass them by.

There is a pub situated at the beginning of the route which which serves good food and drink.

Car parking is the same as the previous Shipbourne Stroll, the coordinates are listed below.........

Your route starts at the rear of St Giles church which is a short walk from your car, follow the path through the church grounds and exit at the rear stone kissing gate, follow the hedge line towards the top of the field, continue forwards through the centre of the next field towards the wooded area where you will find cache number one!
