Geocache Description:

The following was written by ellykelly, and is heartily endorsed by Caaghyr's Crew. I got tired of being stuck carrying around huge travel bugs that don't fit in most caches, so I planted a cache on the Southern tip to equal the very fine Douglas Head Travel Bug Hotel. Those planning on using the bus to or from the Sound should note they don't run very regularly, check the timetable! Update October 2022, no more buses.

So many caches are clustered around car parks that I just wanted to place a cache somewhere that got people walking the Coastal path between The Sound and Port Erin, because it's pretty and very rewarding. NB. dogs are not allowed on the path from Port Erin to the Sound, please respect this as the path is a permissive path, not a public footpath, so could be closed by the landowner if there are problems. Having been involved with livestock over the years I understand his concerns, loose dogs are a menace near sheep and cliffs! The cache is at the side of a flat rock, in the gorse (sorry about that!). No need to go near the edge when searching.
