Geocache Description:

This is a Happy Birthday Cache for a dear friend. Please read the full description for important details!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEANER, is a cache for a great friend of mine, who's nickname happens to be Beaner. He is a recently married resident of Brookfield, who is expecting a little package in July from his wonderful wife. We have gone geocaching a few times in the past, so I thought creating one in his honor would be a fitting gift. He is a great guy and an amazing friend, so please feel free to put happy birthday notes or congrats notes in the log. The cache is a 3x3 square click and lock, inside a larger one to protect it from the elements. There is plenty of room to share items, so feel free.

Now there are two ways to find the cache. Obviously the normal way is to follow the coordinates to GZ and start looking, which is the simple thing to do. This cache has a bit of a twist, if you choose to use the recommended parking coordinates below, there are fire tacks on the trees so you can treat this just like a night cache! That's right, break out the flashlights and find it in the dark.

For those of you who choose the night path, from the parking area there is a skinny tree with a stone at the bottom, this is the location of the first fire tack. It is North North East of the parking area (only about 15' from where you can park), and I will upload a photo of the spot to start once this is posted. From there the tacks are easily seen from spot to spot, on the right hand side of the trees. Most all of the trees have pairs of them, so following is pretty easy. Towards the end they are in a row, so it looks like a landing strip to GZ!

Parking is at 42 13.290 - 072 07.175 or close to it. It is the only spot, so it sticks out.

Good luck and have fun!!

P.S. The hiding spot is a little non-traditional, and the hint will TOTALLY give it away, so avoid the hint if you want to have a little fun!
