The event is one small part of the WWFM VIII (World Wide Flash Mob event) coordinated and in conjunction with the San Diego WWFM VIII hosted by iTrax and FoxTail (Sonny & Sandy) and despite Australia being 17 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight Savings Time we are holding our event simultaneously with the US event at 0300 on Sunday morning for the fun of joining in with our worldwide geocaching family

Participants casually position themselves at various locations within a short walk of GZ but not in sight of GZ !!!
0258 - 0300
Casually make your way towards GZ but as much as you can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen but STAY AWAY from ground zero until your GPSr clock tells you it's 0300 EXACTLY
0300
Everyone arrives at GZ. Facitman & Rhinogeo will be there with an Ammo Box. As you arrive, you will be handed a log sheet. Participants will sign the log sheets (which will later become the log book). To qualify for attendance, drop the completed logsheet back in the Ammo Box
0300 - 0315
Mingle. Meet old friends and make new ones. Share stories. Compare this event to WWFM II held at the Shrine of Remembrance, WWFM III at Federation Square, WWFM IV at the State Library, WWFM V at the Queen Victoria Market, WWFM VI in the Bourke Street Mall and WWFM VII on Sandridge Bridge. But be quick - there is not much time!
Participants assemble for the traditional WWFM group photos and to record the group cheerios
For something different this time and in keeping with the US where every event must include a meal, this time you will have the opportunity to cook an early brekky on the bbq. Bring along some bacon and eggs and join us in the WWFM Breakfast of Champions!!!
In keeping with the previous WWFMs there will be the opportunity for some lucky participant(s) to be win some geo-loot

IMMEDIATELY LEAVE the area. The event area will be evacuated without a trace. The log ammo box will be packed up. If you didn't get to it in time you can't log the event. Only those participants whose names appear on the log sheets may log this event
If everything goes right we will have had people coming out of nowhere and gathering for 15 minutes, holding a geocaching event and then disappearing
For the Flash Mob to have its full effect, it must appear to come from nowhere and disappear just as quickly (at 0300 there may not be that many muggles around to see us ... we'll still know we were there)
