First in the emergency cache series.
Travelling home after attending an event at Laanecoorie, we detoured along the way as I wanted to see a winery. After finding the Taltarni winery we continued driving along the road to end up at this beautiful lookout. The view is amazing and yet there are no signs for it on the main road. While taking in the view, my wife suggested leaving a cache, and to credit a term I heard from Bmak, we placed our "emergency cache". The road to this lookout is sealed until the last 600 odd metres, still doable in a sedan but very steep and I wouldn't attempt it if you don't feel confident. And for those interested in a good drop, I've sampled some of Taltarni's product and was very happy with it. All in all a very nice area.
