Geocache Description:

free counters

A series of puzzle caches inspired by The Chilihouse's "Michelmersh Mystery Mander" series. Set in and around the parish of Rownhams & Nursling, these caches should take you on a circular route of 4-5 miles depending on the number of link caches required.

The D / T has been set, based on the series as a whole, not the individual cache. To complete this series in a circular fashion it will be helpful to make use of some existing caches to link the new ones, provided you have not already completed them. If you have, it may still help to use them as waymarkers.

The caches that maybe used as links are as follows, in no particular order :-

Snake Gigs It, Yeah he Rot, Southampton Parks - St Boniface, Home Covert Woods, Southampton Parks - No Fishing Lakes, Southampton Parks - Cromarty Community Pond, Southampton Parks - Lordshill Recreation Ground

The circuit will involve some urban and rural caching, you will also be required to cross a couple of streams along with a stile or two.

I have been out on several occasions to check the co-ords and each time seem to get slightly different readings. Please make use of the clues to help, as some areas, now have heavy tree cover. The co-ords given are an average of around 6 readings taken at different times and approaching from different directions. Let's see how you get on and make changes if required based on cacher comments. Most of all happy caching and enjoy.

The posted coordinates for each cache, only serve to make a pretty pattern on the map, however the published co-ordinates for cache #1 serve as a parking area for the start and finish of this series. Please be considerate when parking!

While finding the caches in this series watch out for numbers and/or letters which are written on some of the cache containers. These letters/numbers will be needed to work out the series bonus cache.

The Puzzle:-
