This cache is mainly designed to bring you to some of the well-known landmarks in the little old town of Westerly. This multi-cache will take over an hour to find, but the overall process is easy just be sure to follow the instructions.
There may not be parking near some of the locations but, very close by. Make sure you watch for muggles and read about some of the amazing information you find along the way!
A. Your current location is N 41, 21.229 and W 071, 49.861. It was said that Giuseppa M. Comolli was accused of being a witch. She was buried here and be sure to take notice of all of the snakes, frogs, etc. on her stone. To find the second set of coordinates you will use Giuseppa M. Comolli’s year of birth and year of death to find the values of W, X, Y, and Z:
W = The last number of her year of birth + the last number of her year of death.
X = The first two numbers of her year of birth – the first two numbers of her year of death (not a trick question)
Y = The last number of her year of death – the last number of her year of birth.
Z = W + Y

1)Use W, X, Y, and Z numbers to see what to subtract from your current Northern coordinate and add to your current Western coordinate, to find your new coordinates.

V = How many fish are in the statue?

C. “On this Ground through the Years has been demonstrated the skilled Craftsmanship of that Great Company of Men who wrought here the many noteworthy Memorials of Westerly Granite that stand forever through the land.” This reads on a slab of granite near the area of the third set of coordinates. Use this plaque as well as the building(s) and other items surrounding it.
V = The last number of Orlando Smith’s year of death.
W = The last number of Orlando Smith’s year of birth multiplied by two.
X = Number of characters in J…. S…. (Name of Building)
Y = Number of characters in C… H… (Name of Building)
Z = Y – X
