This is a short walk along the Eel River. Very accessible, level dirt road, except for stairs near the cache end of the walk.
Long Pond Road south at exit 5 from Rte 3.
Two tenths of a mile past Boot Pond Road and the parking lot for the Eel River Preserve there is a black mail box on the left at 204 Long Pond Road. You can park near the mail box or drive down the dirt road and park in one of the openings. The trail to the cache continues down this road.
The cache is a small plastic container.
Look for five skinny trees all together.
