Am nördlichen Stadtrand von Bozen liegt Schloss Runkelstein, genannt ‚die Bilderburg‘ wegen seiner wunderbaren profanen, mittelalterlichen Fresken. Runkelstein ist leicht von Bozen aus erreichbar, zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad über die Talferpromenade, mit dem Auto oder mit dem Linienbus Nr.12.

Castel Roncolo è situato nella parte nord di Bolzano. E' noto per l'esteso ciclo di affreschi raffiguranti aspetti della vita e della cultura cortese e che gli valgono il soprannome di Maniero Illustrato (Bilderburg). Castel Roncolo è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi o in bicicletta lungo le passeggiate del fiume Talvera, in auto o con l’autobus n° 2 da Piazza Walther.

Runkelstein Castle is located in the northern part of Bozen. It is well known as ‘the illustrated castle in Bozen’ because of its wonderful mural, middle age frescoes. Runkelstein can easily be reached: You can walk or bike along the Talfer River Promenade; you can also take the car or bus Nr. 2 from Waltherplatz.
