Geocache Description:

You must be a certified scuba diver to seek this cache. Located at Blue Stone Quarry in Thomasville, N.C., this cache was planted and named in honor of the quarry owner, Bob Outlaw. Once you've reached the initial coordinates, continue to the end of Blue Stone Road and park; check in at the quarry and take to the tram to the east side.

The best entry point to seek the cache is at the following coordinates: N 35 °47.682’ W 080°06.970'. After you reach the entry point, follow the instructions below to guide you on your quest.

From the entry point, swim to the orange buoy. When you reach the buoy, descend to 32 feet of water and start looking. Here is a hint to help you on your quest: before it came to rest in Blue Stone's locker, the vessel in which the cache was hidden was fit for flight.

The cache is a plastic box with DAN tank stickers on it. When you find the cache, sign the log secured to the top of the inside of the box. Take one of the FTF prizes and leave another trinket for future cachers. After you have found this cache, send us a photo of you with the cache and tell us the story of your adventure!

Safe diving and happy hunting!
