Geocache Description:

My family lived on Old Winery Road many years ago and we used to visit this area long before it was commercialized. We’d come to use what felt like our own private picnic table in this idyllic setting. Things change – even if it takes over 150 years, but this spot is relatively free from the excessive muggle activity than can be encountered elsewhere. We came here to surprise Mom with a cake and champagne for Mother’s Day and then decided to leave a cache to commemorate the day and years of memories.

There’s plenty of parking, and it’s a great spot to stop for a picnic (or an adult beverage if appropriate).

You can reach the cache without your feet leaving the parking surface, and you should be free from the poison oak that is visible in the neighboring area.

PLEASE replace it as found.

There’s a digital fish and other goodies for the early finders.
