A great mid-day cache when you're ready for a food break
A great mid-day cache when you're ready for a food break. The cache is locate in the Station Landing area of Medford.
It's a quick and easy find, and it's easy to get to (off of I-93). The landing is full of parking (mostly free unless you stay longer than a few hours). It's MBTA accessible--just a short walk from the Wellington T stop on the Orange line, across the skywalk--a long-glass walkway connected directly to the train station, which leads directly to Station Landing.
The cache itself is a clear plastic box with a log book, some small goodies, and a ready-to-go green micro for the first-to-find. Spread the joy.
This cache was inspired by YMCA terrors(GC2ATJR) that I found while visiting Colorado.
There are two other caches that might be worth picking up on your outing, A bus stop donut (which was a fun find) and Lily pad dock cache, which I have yet to find.
Station Landing itself has several sit-down restaurants, pizza, and ice cream. The landing also has a small grassy area with a footpath.
