This cache is located within Wolcott Mill Metropark. It a part
of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system. A
Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required. Annual Permit $25,
Senior Permit $15, Daily Permit $5. For general information please

All park rules and regulations apply. Park in parking lots only.
Check the Metroparks website for park hours. Wolcott Mill does not
charge an entry fee.
The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. The posted coords is
the starting spot to get the information needed to get to the final
location.
This is a simple puzzle cache that will take you to the final cache
container. You can park in the regular parking lot near the mill
and it is a short hike back to the trailhead to hike back to this
cache.
From the trailhead, start heading south. When you get to the plank
boardwalk, is where the puzzle begins. If you have two or more
people in your group. it may be a good idea to have one person
count the planks on the left side, and then another person count
the planks on the right side. We can tell you that there will be a
different total at the end, and the math to be done, will need to
be accurate.
This is a nice walk that may require some balance or you could,
depending on the weather, get a little damp.
The Puzzle: Begining at the start of the plank boardwalk, count all
of the planks on the right side and all of the planks on the left
side, until you get to the end of the plank. Make sure to count the
shorter ones too.
Now take the number of planks you counted on the right side, and
double this number and add it to:
N 42° 45.843
Now take the number of planks counted on the left side, and double
that number and add it to:
W 82° 56.206
This is another KID friendly cache.
While at this Metropark, please remember to sign the visitors' log
at the mill.
