Continuing the UK Mega Event's Geocaching Tour of the United Kingdom, it's the turn of the North West of England to welcome everyone to The UK's Fifth Annual Mega Event.

Where?
We invite you to visit beautiful Cartmel Racecourse situated on the edge of the historic village of Cartmel in the beautiful South Lakes Peninsula.
But its not just the stunning scenery that's on offer..... from vibrant cities and busy market towns to sleepy villages and hidden hamlets, wild and majestic moors and mountains to rivers and canals ..... and then the ever changing coastline ....... England's North West is full of surprises.
Why Cartmel?
Well.... it is the home of the world famous Sticky Toffee Pudding and there's plenty of things for the cacher and non-cacher to enjoy.
What's on...
At the main event, we are planning a range of countryside themed stalls and activities, the ever popular geo-talks and, as a bonus..... the possibility of Dunking a Reviewer - something we're sure will be welcomed by everyone who's ever had a cache submission returned!!
There will also be a range of side events in the area in the week leading up to and after the event - fancy Picnicking on the Pike, or taking part in a Bat Walk? These events culminate in a guided walk across Morecambe Bay led by the Queens Guide, Cedric Robinson MBE (tides permitting).

We want this event to have a real country fair feel, with something for everyone, cachers - non cachers, kids and dogs and we can't wait to welcome you to experience some of the best the five North West counties can offer you.
