Myriam`s Skeiðsrettir

English version:
During ourholiday in Iceland in 2012, we visited the northern parts as well. We were lucky to find a uniquely beautiful accommodation in the guesthouse Skeið offered by a wonderful person. We felt home right away.
This person isMyriam Dalstein, German, who found her new home in Iceland.
Anyone who is traveling to the north looking for accommodation, feel free to contact me. I’d love to help arrange things.
During our timewith Myriam, we learned a lot about the island. The part of Iceland she settled in is an absolutely idyllic place. As a geo cacher, I love to put a cache in places I enjoyed, so I’d like to share this one with everyone.
Myriam recommended an/the old sheep hutch. It is one of her projects that she is busy with rebuilding.
If you’ve got the time, I strongly recommend to go for this cache for it will lead you to a hidden but very idyllic place in Iceland.

Während unseres Island-Urlaubs 2012 waren wir unter anderem auch im Nordteil unterwegs. Hier hatten wir das Glück im Gästehaus Skeið ein einmalig schönes Quartier bei einer wundervollen Person zu finden. Hier kommt man an uns fühlt sich sofort zuhause.
Diese Person ist Myriam Dalstein, die als Deutsche in Island ihr neues Zuhause gefunden hat.
Wer in den Norden unterwegs ist und eine Unterkunft sucht, der kann sich gern an mich wenden. Ich vermittle gerne.
Während unserer Zeit bei Myriam durften wir viel über Island erfahren. Diese Ecke von Island, in der sie sich niedergelassen hat, ist ein absolutes Idyll. Da man als Geocacher ja sehr gern dort einen Cache legt, wo man sich wohl fühlt und dies gerne mit anderen teilt, habe ich hier nach einem Platz gesucht der euch in diese Region führt. Hier wurde mir die alte Schafspferch von Myriam empfohlen. Diese Schafspferch gehört zu Myriam`s Projecten, da sie diese wieder aufbauen möchte.
Sollte es eure Zeit erlauben, kann ich nur empfehlen, diesen Cache anzugehen, da er euch an einen etwas abgelegenen aber sehr idyllischen Platz in Island führt.
Viel Spaß auf dem Weg dahin, beim Suchen und Finden und natürlich wünsche ich euch, dass ihr die wunderbare Landschaft sowie die Ruhe genießen könnt.
