This cache has been archived.

WalkingWood: Despite having had significant changes with work that have absorbed a huge amount of time we have slowly been putting this series back together, however it seems not fast enough for some.

Sorry it is time for this to go, We'll visit and collect the caches as soon as possible.

Geocache Description:

This is the first of the new series of Peopleton Ponders, the previous series has been archived. The walk is similar, with some slight changes.
The village shop has re-opened run by the community with volunteers so please support if possible.

The series is called 'Ponders' because there is a card in each cache (where possible) with something for you to ponder on on the walk to the next cache.
Peopleton itself was originally called Piplingtune meaning Pyppel's farmstead or estate. The walk follows fields, tracks, permissive paths and quiet lanes and can be muddy in places.
Suggested parking at the Crown Pub in the village (excellent food) and start the walk down the narrow footpath opposite the pub and alongside the churchyard.
After finding the cache, continue round the path past the churchyard to the end and then turn right towards the Bow Brook.

Well done Waterford Wonder FTF on whole series!
