GeoWoodstock is a laid back event that has grown from a gathering of 75 people on the Louisville riverfront to the world’s largest geocaching event. GeoWoodstock X is your opportunity to meet fellow enthusiast and discuss geocaching ideas with fellow cachers from around the country and the world.

Join us on the Sunny Side of Louisville to celebrate the 10th anniversary of GeoWoodstock. If this is your first GeoWoodstock or your tenth, you will be able to visit or revisit the history of this fabulous event..

There is something for everyone in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area, cachers and non-cachers alike. Stay in the metro Louisville area and snap pictures of Churchill Downs, spend the day perusing museums, visiting an array of beautiful parks or graze your way through a 120 year old candy store. Travel an hour or two to the home of the Indy 500, the world’s longest cave system or just drive through horse country. And of course, there are tons of caches in every difficulty and terrain.

Find registration (required), additional information about the day and available merchandise at the GeoWoodstock website. The website will be the place to find out about the area and most anything else you want to know about the event.

EVENT NOTES:


DIRECTIONS: DO NOT follow your GPS. Streets will be turned into one way streets for the event to easily direct traffic to and from the event.

From I-65 take IN-311, Exit 9 towards Sellersburg/Speed and following the signs to GeoWoodstock X.

PARKING: Parking is free. Special Olympics’ members will be directing you to your parking space. Kindly support them with a generous donation.
