A quick walk from Waitangi up a bit of a hill. Waitangi is the main village of the Chatham Islands
This cache was placed awhile ago but could not be logged as part of New Zealand as the Chatham Islands are west rather then east of Greenwich. Therefore like the only other current cache on the Chatham Islands (GC2DNHK) it is listed in the Cook Islands.
Note: 3 Aug 2011. The CI is now able to be logged as part of NZ so this listing has been modified to suit.
Note: 12 March 2024. The old buildings have been removed and the cache has gone. MuzzaL53 has kindly replaced the cach in a new location and the Co-ords have been updated.
I should be easy to find and at GZ. There are good views across the coast.
Note: on some Goggle maps it looks like the cache is at sea, but I can assure you is isn't.
