Parish Perimeter - Northill: Transport Café Traditional Cache

This cache used to be part of a series of caches set around the border of the parish of Northill, Bedfordshire but with that series being retired, some of them, including this one, have been retained as stand-alone caches.

It used to be the case that at each point where a road breaks through the boundary to enter the parish a cache had been placed. In the log book for each of these caches a piece of information existed which could be used to locate a bonus cache: The Interior. That cache has now been archived.

Northill parish has two websites: one for the Parish Council and a Community Information Web Site. The parish is home to the Ickwell May Day festivities which have been taking place on the green in Ickwell since at least 1565.

This cache is associated with the point where the A1 crosses the parish boundary on its way to/from Beeston and Sandy. Quite conveniently there is a layby here and a truck stop café.
