Scenic turnout near Jackman, Maine.
Attean View is a scenic turnout on Route 201 south of Jackman, Maine. From the turnout, looking northwest you will see Attean Lake and on a clear day, almost due west of the turnout you can see windmills on the top of one of the mountains. The view from the turnout is spectacular on a clear day. The turnout is a CITO rest area so please take your trash with you and if you see any, it would be appreciated by all if you took a couple extra minutes to pick up what you can.

01/10/2012 - Updating attributes to not winter friendly. It's hard enough to spot this one without snow on the ground. Updating difficulty as well.
