I was communicating with STP Ron recently. He does a lot of caches in Santa Teresa Park. He's pretty aware when cache space is available. He was kind enough to suggest an area that needs a cache and if I would be interested. Heck yeah!
I have never been to Ohlone Trail in Santa Teresa Park until today as I hiked in to set out my newest cache. It's so close to my house!
Anyway, you are looking for a camo'd jar just a few steps from the trail. Some new goodies inside plus $1 for FTF inside the plastic bag that holds the log sheet. There is also a container of "eyeball" bandages inside the cache. Help yourself without having to put something in it's place. Just take one for each person.
Please rehide so it doesn't show to muggles. Your GPSr will probably bounce around due to the trees, but I did the best I could under the circumstances. Partial assembly of geo-sense required ;-)
Be sure to observe park rules. Watch for ticks and snakes. There was some PO close to cache, but I wacked it down so reaching for the cache should be much easier now :)
The fastest way to the cache is to park on Bayliss Drive and enter the Ohlone Trailhead where the sign for the Archery place is located.
Congratulations to Seek2FindMe and Starpop for FTF!! WTG!
As I was looking at Google Earth to view this and other surrounding caches, an image showed up that is very very weird. It has a rainblow effect. Apparently, the camera caught this plane as it flew over the area.
