[FIN]: Yksi tähän mennessä suurimman vaikutuksen TeamTuukkaan tehneistä kätköistä on ollut GC1PEZ1 Jättiläinen (visit link) , joka massiivisella olemuksellaan sulautuu yllättävän hienosti ympäristöönsä.
Tämän kätkön kohdekoordinaattien tuntumassa on kunnioitus Jätille. Isoon laatikkoon tuli lähestulkoon törmättyä Katajajärven kätkön paluumatkalla (kts. loggaus GCH553 7.5.2011 (visit link) ). Itsessään tämän kohteen sijainnissa tai näkymissä ei ole sen kummallisempaa tai maisemallisempaa. Mukavaa sen sijaan on pieni kävely metsässä ja palkkiona reilun kokoinen purkki, johon tehdä lokaus. Painotettakoon vielä, että iso laatikko oli siis jo entuudestaan metsikössä. Miksiköhän se on ylipäätään raahattu metsän siimekseen?
Syvällä metsässä GPS tuntuu heittävän hieman. Saattaa johtua ympäristön korkeasta ja tiheästä puustosta. Toivottavasti heitto ei sentään ole kovin monta metriä.
Kätkössä on useita purkkeja, joten sinunkin matkalaisesi mahtuvat kätköön.
[ENG]: One of the most impressive cache so far found by TeamTuukka has been GC1PEZ1 Jättiläinen (The Giant) (visit link) , which has it's giant appearance and yet being merged to surroundings very nicely.
Tribute to The Giant, there is a cache very close to the given coordinates. We were almost run into the big box while returning the cache "Katajajärvi" quite close to this cache (visit link) . There is nothing spectacular in this cache. It's, however, nice to have a little hike and make a logging into big enough cache as a reward. For your information, the big box already was in the forest previously. Please add your own quess to the logging why the box is there in the forest.
GPS seems not to be very accurate over there, probably because of tall and thick trees. However, the error supposed to be less than few meters.
There are several containers in the cache. Your trackables are more than welcome to stay here.
