dreki: I'm not able to take care of this geocache because I live in north Iceland. Also I heard on the icelandic news this place is getting so popular they want to build more houses in the area. So I have decided to archive my "Jokulsarlon bay" geocache.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a small plastic box (3x10x7cm), it contains a log book (inside a 35 film canister, to keep the log-book dry) and few small items.



The cache is close to Jökulsárlón, the bay is filled with melting icebergs (they are black because of ash from last eruption in Grimsvötn), they come from nearby glacier Vatnajökull. For many it is a little nature wonder, enjoy the location before you attempt the search for the cache. The view changes every day.
