Across the river, you have a great view of an establishment that used to be a city within a city. It had its own doctors, dentists etc and is one of the longest and oldest employers of residents in and around the city of Hobart.
It still employs some of these people but no where as many now as it did in days of yore!
Good views of the Mountain and up and down the Derwent are to be had here.
